Zzzzzip-SNAP! As heavy a roll of quarters and about as big as a AA Maglite(R) in the closed position this telescopic spring billy club fits easy into any pocket or purse will get the job done Backing off dogs or drunks in the night.

The ejection noise alone when you snap it out is enough - the chrome coated steel springs rip across the lip of the steel case and the sound it produces is very solid and sobering to say the least! And if that doesn't get them the lead tip will of course shatter just about anything in it's way. To open the baton you grip it firmly in the hand and swing it. Once opened the baton is locked in place pressing into its couplings, to collapse it you strike a solid surface (pavement) in a downward stabbing motion (ideally while kneeling for leverage) with the baton in a tightly closed fist. Several light tapping strikes or one solid strike will do the trick equally well. These are very solid units so please watch your fingers (nose and chin?) and the especially the surfaces you contact this with when you close it!
