Folders of the 80's this is a tricky tri fold design guaranteed to confuse you for at least 20 minutes on how it even opens after you get it!
How it works: This knife functions similar
to a balisong/butterfly design with the two handles swinging in opposite
directions to house the blade or form handle. To open from closed position
(or unlock in the open position) you fan the handles apart sliding them sideways against eachother. Example - put the blade at 12 o'clock and the handle at 6 o'clock. Then keep the back of the handle in place and pivot the front counter clockwise. This puts the handle above the spring
loaded ball bearing it locks into and then you swing the handles around
into the locked position again. One hand opening is certainly a possibility
here but it takes practice and is not at all as easy to master as a butterfly.
